Afroma House Coffeeis a Ugandan Social Impact Business selling Ugandan Coffee on both the Ugandan and United States Market, and commits 10 % of its profits to Congolese Refugee Single Mothers’ Livelihood enhancement programs in Uganda.

Uganda produces some of the best quality coffee on the International Market. The Country is among the few Countries with Indigenous Coffee.

Afroma Houses sells coffee grown naturally without the use of artificial addivities. Uganda has one of the biggest acreage of organic land in the world and most of its coffee is grown by poor small scale farmers who donot afford the cost of artificial additivies.

Afroma House coffee is Internationally known for its exceptional quality. The Company’s Arabica coffee is grown on a thousand year plus decayed lava on the slopes of Mountain Elgon a fact that influences its unique taste and magnificient aroma. Afroma Robusta Coffee is grown in the Nile Valley one of the most fertilize belts in the World and its strong and unique taste influenced by the different silt types deposited by the different water bodies pouring in the Nile Valley.

The Company procures coffee from coffee farmers who strictly observe the recommended International Standards during the process of Coffee growing, harvesting, drying, and storage. Afroma House Coffee is handpicked to ensure quality. Afroma House Coffee is roasted and packed from CURAD a donar state of the art facility put up to assist Ugandans exporting coffee to high quality standard markets to roast and pack their coffee.

Afroma House Coffee quality is certified by the Uganda’s National Bureal of Standards.

The Company secures its Coffee from only coffee farmers who are conscious of environment preservation during the process of coffee production, and Company has a strong policy against use of child labor during the process of coffee production.
